Royal – Our Creator King by Pastor Abidan Shah

This year, we are starting a series called “ROYAL” to help us understand not only what Christmas is all about, but the deep theology behind the kingship of Jesus. There is so much in Scripture that points to Christ as the one true King.  This series will help us understand the prophecies that heralded Jesus as the promised King as well as keeping our minds focused on Him as we head toward December 25.

Thankful for Salvation by Pastor Abidan Shah

This weekend, we come to the final message in this series. God has blessed us tremendously, but without question, His greatest gift is salvation. God rescued us while we were still sinners and provided a way to return us into relationship with Him. The title of this weekend’s message is “THANKFUL FOR SALVATION.”

Thankful for His Plan by Pastor Abidan Shah

This weekend, we are starting a brand new series on thankfulness and how God has blessed us. In this first message, we will be looking at the story of Joseph and his brothers. God’s plan is perfect, and although he suffered, Joseph held onto that truth. In this weekend’s message, we will learn to be thankful for “HIS PLAN.”

Joint Impact by Pastor Abidan Shah

This weekend, we will be taking a look at the collective impact of the church. We are more than just a gathering of individuals. We are a body, joined together by God for a specific mission: to reach the world with the message of the gospel. We are each capable of accomplishing much for the Lord on our own. However, it is only when we are united in our purpose and our efforts that God can use the church to make a profound impact. The title of this weekend’s message is “JOINT IMPACT.”

Beyond Conscience by Pastor Abidan Shah

This weekend, we will be learning about the Holy Spirit. So many times, people think of the Holy Spirit as a mere force or simply our conscience. He is so much more than just a sense of right and wrong. The Holy Spirit is the promised helper from Scripture and we must have a good understanding of what He means for us as believers. The title of this week’s message is “BEYOND CONSCIENCE.”

The Exalted Word by Pastor Abidan Shah

We’re taking a look at Psalm 138 this weekend, where David writes about the Word of God and its importance for our lives. It is the final authority, revealing to us more about who God is and what He is like than anything else. The title of the message this weekend is “THE EXALTED WORD.”

Discipleship: Implanted by Pastor Abidan Shah

This weekend, we turn our attention to the importance of the Word of God being implanted in our hearts. When we memorize Scripture, we hide God’s Word in our hearts to keep us focused on Him when life tries to steal our attention. The implanted Word within us responds to the external Word when we sit under biblical teaching and preaching. Likewise, the external Word stirs the implanted Word within us and calls us to action. This weekend’s message is titled “DISCIPLESHIP: IMPLANTED.”

Discipleship: Rooted by Pastor Abidan Shah

This weekend, we are taking a look at Paul’s words to Timothy regarding the importance of studying the Bible. He encourages Timothy to remind others to regularly study the Scriptures without falling into pointless debates that only create division. Proper study of the Word ensures that men and women have a firm foundation of truth. The message this weekend is titled “DISCIPLESHIP: ROOTED.”

Discipleship 4: Established in the Word by Pastor Abidan Shah

This messages marks the fourth installment in our series. Throughout His earthly ministry, Jesus spent time teaching His disciples and those around Him the importance of the Old Testament and the prophecies that had been fulfilled. Disciples should be established on the truth of the Bible. The title of the message this weekend is “DISCIPLESHIP 4: ESTABLISHED IN THE WORD.”

God’s Unfailing Word by Pastor Abidan Shah

The book of 1 Peter in the New Testament encourages believers to remember that temporary suffering is an opportunity to make them more like Christ. He writes that, although this life is chaotic and uncertain, God’s Word is eternal and unchanging. It is only in the Bible that we can find peace, hope, and the answers to our deepest needs.

DIGGING DEEP 3 (Bible Translations) by Abidan Paul Shah

In this Summer Bible Study we will be learning how to pick the best Bible translation. Don't be misled by the title. This is not just about picking between NIV and KJV or NASB and THE MESSAGE. We will be looking at deeper issues as to what goes behind translating the ancient languages in which the Bible was written. We will be debating issues such as "Is form more important than meaning or vice-versa?" Don't miss this!
