This weekend, we continue through the first chapter of 1 Peter. Peter shows his readers the importance of being sober-minded and having the resolve to stay focused on God and what He is doing, even in the face of uncertainty. This is such a critical reminder, not only for Peter’s audience, but for us as well. The title of this weekend’s message is “FIRM RESOLVE.”
This weekend, our message will focus on expanding what our teenagers learned this weekend. We will take a look at different moments in Moses’ life and the Israelites’ journey through the wilderness. God was faithful to them every step of the way, guiding them through the unknown and meeting their needs. The title of this weekend’s message is “THE JOURNEY.”
These appear to be times of discouragement and despair but they can also be times of hope and possibilities. God does not want us to live in defeat but to step out and be the salt and light. He has given us His Holy Spirit to take the Gospel of Christ to the ends of the earth.
