Transformed by Pastor Abidan Shah

The title of this message is “TRANSFORMED.” We will examine three very different individuals who encountered Paul and whose lives were completely changed by the power of the gospel. God used Paul’s ministry to meet these people where they were and transform their lives.

Redirected by Pastor Abidan Shah

We are all redirected by God. As we will explore in this weekend’s message titled “Redirected,” from Acts, door after door was closed to Paul. It would have been easy for him to lose heart. If Paul had another reaction to the closed doors, one of anger and bitterness, and had not waited, it would have been a bad situation.

When the Body Grows by Pastor Abidan Shah

Many times in Scripture, the church is compared to a body. It is composed of many members with different functions that work together for the good of the whole. The same should be true of the church, especially where men are concerned. Becoming spiritually mature isn’t just learning more about God; it’s about stepping up to lead by serving.

Heart Search by Pastor Abidan Shah

The Corinthians were treating each other hatefully during the Communion part of the Love Feast. What was supposed to be a somber moment became a shameful display. Paul had to chastise them and take them back to the fateful night when Jesus celebrated the final Communion with his disciples. Paul commands the Corinthians to examine their hearts and to see if they are ready to take part of such a great meal.

Love is Liberating by Pastor Abidan Shah

In the concluding message titled “Love is Liberating,” Paul reminds the Corinthians that true love never ends. It doesn’t have any limitations. It doesn’t use any threats and fears. In fact, it brings a sense of freedom that allows the other person to flourish and love back without any barriers.

Love is Purifying by Pastor Abidan Shah

Here Paul goes deep into the human heart. Have you ever wondered why we feel a sense of relief and glee when others go through a difficult time? Where does this come from? This is our sinful nature peeking through. Please don’t misunderstand – this does not mean that we throw a party whenever something bad happens to others. I’m only referring to that momentary sin of self-preservation and gloating that infects all of us. Love cannot flourish in such an atmosphere. This message will encourage us to seek God’s forgiveness, healing, and restoration in our life and relationships.

Love is Disarming by Pastor Abidan Shah

Many people like to focus on the weaknesses of others or point out their failures. True love allows the other person to put down their guard, knowing that they are in a safe zone and they won’t be attacked, ambushed, or shamed. Are you the kind of person who helps people relax around you or are you the kind of person who loves to agitate others? This message is titled “Love is Disarming.”

Love is Maturing by Abidan Paul Shah

Immature people are rude and crude. They say and do things without regard to the feelings of others. They only think of self and how they can benefit from a situation. True love cares about how others feel.

Love is Serving by Pastor Abidan Shah

In this message we will look at the statement – “Love does not parade itself, is not puffed up.” There is no room for pride in love. In fact, “Love is Serving” others the way Christ serves us.

Love is Cheering by Pastor Abidan Shah

The challenge in this message is two-fold: first, do not envy and second, share in the joys of others. It’s not enough to say that you are not envious of others. God wants us to go a step further and show love by rejoicing in the blessings of others.

Love is Calming by Pastor Abidan Shah

LOVE IS CALMING by Pastor Shah, Clearview Church, Henderson, NC Introduction:  This is the second message in our new series – “LOVE IS THE GREATEST.” As Valentine’s Day is approaching, we’re looking at what the Bible has to say about love. Again, please don’t misunderstand, the series is not just about romantic or marital love. […]

Love is the Greatest by Pastor Abidan Shah

Paul not only spent time with the Corinthians, but he wrote back to them, helping them understand how to live and how to love. In this series, based on 1 Corinthians 13, we are going to understand love from God’s perspective—in family, in the church, in our community and in our nation and our world.
