Sufficient: Door of the Sheep by Abidan Shah, PhD

This weekend, we are examining Jesus’ statement “I am the door of the sheep.” There are a lot of applications to draw from this passage, but perhaps the most important is that Christ is the path to salvation. There is no way to God except through Jesus’ death on the cross, no matter how many systems or ideologies the world offers. Jesus alone is the one who saves. This weekend’s message is titled “SUFFICIENT: DOOR OF THE SHEEP.”

Regeneration by Dr. Abidan Shah

This weekend, we are turning a corner in our series. As we have learned, salvation is both a moment and process in the life of every believer. It involves a person going from being spiritually dead to being alive in Christ. But what does that mean? And how does it change the way we celebrate Easter? The title of this weekend’s message is “REGENERATION.”

Abiding by Dr. Abidan Shah

ABIDING by Dr. Shah, Clearview Church, Henderson Introduction:  How many of yall remember the “Little Rascals.” I’m sure it is before all of our times, but we may have seen one or two episodes. The Servant by Dr. Abidan Shah

This weekend, we are continuing our study of Isaiah and his use of the term “servant.” In these verses, God is describing His Servant and how he will justify many people ultimately by bearing their iniquities. This shows the perfect plan of salvation that has been on God’s heart since the beginning of time. The title of this weekend’s message is “THE SERVANT.”

Greater than Religion by Dr. Abidan Shah

This weekend, we will take a look at how Jesus’ birth was perceived by the religious leaders of His day. They were used to being in power and navigating the political climate of that day for their benefit. However, the coming of Jesus radically changed their way of life. The title of this weekend’s message is “GREATER THAN RELIGION.”

Genuine Faith by Dr. Abidan Shah

This weekend, we are moving forward through the book of 1 Peter. Peter is reminding his audience of the purpose of trials in this life. The Jewish people were no stranger to trials, but Peter wanted them to remember that ultimately, difficult situations help strengthen our faith by the grace of God. The title of this weekend’s message is “GENUINE FAITH.”

Sustenance by Pastor Abidan Shah

This weekend, we are celebrating the Lord’s Supper. This is always such a powerful time of worship as we remember the sacrifice that Jesus made for us. However, communion can often become just another ritual; something we do because we always have. This weekend, we will seek to understand the purpose behind communion and it’s significance for us. We will be reminded that Christ is our “SUSTENANCE.”

Beyond Conscience by Pastor Abidan Shah

This weekend, we will be learning about the Holy Spirit. So many times, people think of the Holy Spirit as a mere force or simply our conscience. He is so much more than just a sense of right and wrong. The Holy Spirit is the promised helper from Scripture and we must have a good understanding of what He means for us as believers. The title of this week’s message is “BEYOND CONSCIENCE.”
