This weekend, we are going to expand on this idea of sharing the gospel with others. The Bible compares the world around us to a field ready to harvest. How will the harvest be gathered? How do you know what to harvest? What is the point of the crops that are gathered? We will examine these questions as they relate to our mission as believers and as a church family. The title of this weekend’s message is “HARVEST.”
This weekend, we will be taking a look at the Parable of Two Sons. Jesus told this parable in response to an interaction with the religious leaders of the temple who had a problem with His authority. Through the parable, Jesus illustrates the importance of repenting and following God’s plan. The title of this weekend’s message is “OBEDIENT.”
Typically on Palm Sunday, we hear messages about Jesus entering Jerusalem. However, this year, I want to focus on what takes place immediately before His entrance into the city. Jesus commanded His disciples to untie a colt and bring it to Him to ride upon. On the surface, this command doesn’t make sense, but the disciples obeyed anyway. The title of this week’s message is “SENSELESS OBEDIENCE.”
