This weekend, I’m preaching a message titled “DRIFTING ALLEGIANCE.” After His resurrection, Jesus still had many interactions with His disciples, teaching them and preparing them for when He would depart from them. The encounter we will be looking at is a tender moment between Jesus and Peter following his denial of Christ during the crucifixion. Jesus gently restores Peter’s focus and clarity on the mission God has given him.
The Soul-Multiplier by Pastor Abidan Shah
This week, we will be looking at the miraculous catch of fish by the disciples after the resurrection of Jesus. Through this miracle, Jesus teaches that when we encounter Him, we can’t go back to the comfort of our old life. We must move forward into the mission He has for us.
The Soul-Sustainer by Pastor Abidan Shah
We will be learning about Jesus feeding over 5,000 people with just five loaves of bread and two fish. This miracle is about much more than food, however. It is about spiritual satisfaction. Keep in mind that there were twelve baskets of food left over. When Jesus fills us, he more than meets our needs. Through Him, our souls are sustained; we are satisfied and will never be hungry again.
