This weekend, we will encounter the next judge in Israel’s history: Jephthah. An enigmatic character, it is difficult to look at the circumstances of his life and determine how he can be the good guy, as we have learned the judges are in this series. However, Scripture includes him in the hall of faith listed in Hebrews. What can we learn from Jephthah’s life? We’ll unpack this and more in our message titled “STEER”.

Legends by Abidan Shah, PhD

This weekend, as we continue to learn about Noah and the flood, we will compare the biblical account to ancient myths and mythologies from cultures around the world. The presence of other flood narratives might seem strange, but when we look closer we will find proof of the authority of God’s Word in these “LEGENDS”.

Dual Citizen by Dr. Abidan Shah

This weekend, as we near the election, we will be looking at critical issues that should impact the way we think and act. We should not be conformed to this world, but we are called to shape culture and push back against the darkness around us. The title of this weekend’s message is “DUAL CITIZEN.”

Dads Wanted

Unfortunately, our Western culture has invented a whole different concept of the home where fathers are tolerated rather than respected. They are told that they are stupid and cannot do anything right. They are told that they are insensitive and need to be more in touch with their feelings. They are told that its better without them rather than with them.

The result is obvious. Children are going off the deep end. Sex roles are all twisted. Churches are sitting empty. And, the home, society, and nation are becoming weaker and weaker.
