As we have journeyed together through the book of Romans for the past several messages, I feel that each one is helping us to better grasp the nature of God and his plan throughout history. If we are to grasp end-times prophecy, we must lay the proper foundation in our knowledge of God and the world. Essential to this are God’s righteousness, his wrath, and our faith in Christ.

This weekend, we will continue to walk through Romans and discuss how these concepts lay a foundation for our understanding of not only end-times prophecy but of who God is and our relationship with him. Many times, people default into patterns of legalism, trying to be good enough to earn salvation or to please God. The truth is you and I can never be good enough, but the good news is we don’t have to be. Faith in Christ and his work on the cross is the only foundation worth having.
