Owens Jr., professor of New Testament and Greek at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, Wake Forest. In this episode we discuss Dr. Black’s book “Why Four Gospels?: The Historical Origins of the Gospels.” Along with a brief intro to the synoptic problem, Black introduces us to the Four-fold Gospel hypothesis. Abidan Paul Shah (born October, 1973) is completing his PhD in New Testament Textual Criticism (ancient biblical manuscripts) and is an Adjunct Professor of Greek at Southeastern Seminary, Wake Forest. He holds a Masters of Divinity with languages and a Bachelors in Broadcast Journalism. He has been the pastor of Clearview Church, Henderson, NC for 19 years. He has read scholarly papers at the National Evangelical Theological Society and is a regular columnist with the local newspaper. Prior to committing to full-time ministry, Abidan served for four years as a Christian school administrator.
